Team Kids is an academic tutoring and enrichment center. We do not provide medical, psychological, ABA, speech, occupational, or clinical therapy services.
Our programs are educational and developmental in nature, designed to support academic growth, emotional intelligence, and life skills through structured learning experiences.
Tutoring focuses on academic instruction, skill-building, and learning strategies within an educational framework.
Our social-emotional and life skills programs are structured enrichment sessions that teach practical tools for emotional regulation, communication, organization, and confidence. Therapy, by contrast, involves clinical diagnosis and treatment provided by licensed healthcare professionals. We do not offer clinical treatment.
Our programs serve students in grades K–12 who may:
Need academic reinforcement
Benefit from small-group instruction
Struggle with organization or study habits
Need support building confidence
Experience frustration in school settings
Benefit from structured emotional skill development
We welcome students of varying learning profiles and partner with families to determine whether our services are an appropriate fit.
We support many students who have diagnosed learning differences. However, our role is educational — not clinical.
We do not diagnose or treat conditions. If a student requires therapeutic intervention, we encourage families to seek licensed professionals in addition to our academic support services.
Each student begins with a parent consultation so we can understand their academic profile and goals
From there, we create a personalized plan that may include:

Social-emotional enrichment groups
Life skills development
Sessions are structured, goal-oriented, and developmentally appropriate.
When appropriate and authorized by parents, we may collaborate with partner schools to ensure consistency and alignment in academic support.

We begin with a parent conversation.

If we feel your child would benefit more from a different type of service, we will communicate that honestly.
